To that effect, our ever-evolving Research process is comprised of three primary steps:

  • Initial Screening focuses on minimum required criteria, including application performance, minimum up-time guarantees and fees and expenses. This is done using a variety of databases covering a wide variety of cloud service vendors.
  • Quantitative Analysis evaluates past performance and considers volatility and style, among other measures, to determine how an application achieved past results. In addition to a myriad of modern application theory (MAT) statistics, we review a laundry list of reviews and results-based statistics, including style adherence, portal diversification and performance attribution. Research findings that pass this analysis face an extensive qualitative review.
  • Qualitative Analysis assesses whether an application's strong historical success will likely continue and whether or not the cloud platform has a repeatable and scalable process in place and the means to adhere to it. Some aspects we review include the evaluation of key software interfaces through enterprise visits or conference calls, along with their interoperability, and a thorough review of the security of the cloud hosted applications.

Once approved by our formal Research committee, this process results in a diverse list of recommendations offering conservative, moderate and aggressive, technology efficient, platform oriented choices arranged by software class.

Monitoring Recommendations

On-going monitoring is an essential component of the Nubifer Research process. Persistent monitoring of an enterprise's Software-as-a-Service process, personnel changes, and performance results is one of the most important aspects of our value recommendations.
