Consultancy Approach and Monitoring
Nubifer Research offers an application allocation framework spanning the full range of our clients Software-as-a-Service objectives. To populate the underlying cloud application classes in our models, a wide array of Software-as-a-Service choices gives your enterprise the opportunity to customize your current on and off-premise applications. With the daily influx of new Software-as-a-Service choices, selecting and monitoring all of them can be a daunting and time-consuming task.
At Nubifer, our Research teams have done the heavy lifting for you by providing you an unbiased examination of all the applicable Software-as-a-Service vehicles. Our breadth of coverage includes our NUBIFER CLOUD : PORTAL, separately managed applications, and the interoperability and scalability of Nubifer's leading-edge cloud offerings.
To create our unbiased recommendations, our Research teams operate on a shared philosophy that diligent fundamental research and a well-defined analytical process, rigorously adhered to, is the key to identifying, recommending and monitoring Software-as-a-Service opportunities that offer the potential for superior long-term results for your enterprise.
To that effect, our ever-evolving Research process is comprised of three primary steps:
- Initial Screening focuses on minimum required criteria, including application performance, minimum up-time guarantees and fees and expenses. This is done using a variety of databases covering a wide variety of cloud service vendors.
- Quantitative Analysis evaluates past performance and considers volatility and style, among other measures, to determine how an application achieved past results. In addition to a myriad of modern application theory (MAT) statistics, we review a laundry list of reviews and results-based statistics, including style adherence, portal diversification and performance attribution. Research findings that pass this analysis face an extensive qualitative review.
- Qualitative Analysis assesses whether an application's strong historical success will likely continue and whether or not the cloud platform has a repeatable and scalable process in place and the means to adhere to it. Some aspects we review include the evaluation of key software interfaces through enterprise visits or conference calls, along with their interoperability, and a thorough review of the security of the cloud hosted applications.
Once approved by our formal Research committee, this process results in a diverse list of recommendations offering conservative, moderate and aggressive, technology efficient, platform oriented choices arranged by software class.
Monitoring Recommendations
On-going monitoring is an essential component of the Nubifer Research process. Persistent monitoring of an enterprise's Software-as-a-Service process, personnel changes, and performance results is one of the most important aspects of our value recommendations. Our rigorous monitoring process focuses on a number of key factors that can be leading indicators of deviations from historical performance patterns and enhance our ability to make proactive SaaS decisions before an applications performance deteriorates substantially. Some key indicators we focus on include:
- Shifts in application performance levels
- Changes in cloud theory
- Specific industry requirements
- Unanticipated deviations in expected performance
